1.d. Freedom to Petition for Redress

Original quote from US Bill of Rights: "Congress shall make no law ... abridging ... the right of the people ... to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

Government must not interfere with the right of individuals and organizations to complain to any part of any level of government about any problem they have with it and to seek a resolution to the problem. Government also has a responsibility to actually and seriously consider all such complaints which are not merely attempts to get some special treatment or favor at someone else's expense in violation of NAP.
